Drew, have you ever seen the motivational videos that Lou Holtz put out in the late 80s/early 90s? My dad made me sit down and take notes and do exercises based on them. Him and his friends bootlegged them and passed them around to make their shiftless loser sons straighten up and act right. It didn't take.

Are you certain? My copy of the DVD starts with 'Stalker' in the original Soviet credits. Also, Geoff Dyer made no mention of this in his book 'Zona' and he mentioned damn near every other bit of minutiae related to the film.
