My Dad has brought them up on a few occasions, and not just train vs any kind of motor vehicle, there were train vs train, suicides, on the job accidents and even a hobo slip and fall that all ended horrifically. I even knew a guy that had worked for a contractor that was unfortunate enough to see a suicide from a

My Dad is a retired railroader too, but was a track worker and then managed them as well as has had to deal with some of the aftermath of these incidents, what you’ve described is dead on for what he has been through as well.

II had a couple HotWheels of that RV back in the day and it always cracks me up when I see stuff for these on line and younger posters freak out because it’s the from the Ben-10 cartoon. I think a lot of those “kids” didn’t realize that the RV from the cartoon is based off one of these GMC’s!

Oh, ok, just curious since you mentioned sepsis and between myself and my late Mother (she’s had fought off MRSA a number of times, though we think an early for of Covid killed her), we unfortunately have plenty of experience with them.

Who else is waiting to see how long this get blamed on Biden what ever crack pot reason the right wing nutters come up with?!

Are you sure that was an MRI? I was hospitalized for MRSA related Sepsis in February and I had to get a couple CT scans, one as part of the diagnosis and the other to make sure the swelling in my also infected prostate had gone down.

I don’t know what is better there, the grin on Curly’s face, or the look of shock on Larry’s!

I’ll dial all the lights back as much as possible in my 200 when driving at night, found it worked better for me.

A customer at my last job had a Chrysler minivan with their in car boosters, his kids found them uncomfortable and would have been better off with the ones shown above or ones you just go out and buy.

If the Lambo catches fire, it’ll just be even more epic.

Which one? They’ve had a couple now......

Got a funny story about Iowa and driving fast, and involving a B-Body Mopar too!

You must not have been in Northern Illinois or were driving something police like then, I know we’re nowhere near as bad as Texas, but I don’t normally have people move over.

I haven’t had to worry about it much in the last 5 years since changing jobs then going to WFH, but I used to run across silver/beige/gold/some mix of the 3 Buicks, Toyotas, and Lexus mid sized or larger sedans that if I were lucky, were running posted limit, but usually 5mph under, on my way to the retail job I used

Since when did the guy that bought Norelco buy Toyota?!

The vents in the front bumper are a bit busy, but at least it doesn’t look like is should be asking “Eh, What’s up Doc?” while munching on a carrot.......

My Dad and I were talking about just that a couple weeks ago!

Having spent time in one of those (a 6000 LE), my guess is that if they were raptured, they’re likely burning in hell right now too.

Not only did it exist, it still does!

Now playing

Soooooo............Death Race 2000 in video game form?!
