For those of you that are, like me, in desperate need of some good news:

I worked in the car business from 2007-2019 (6 years in online sales, 6 years in an upper management operations position) and I can tell you while online sales are going to increase, brick-and-morter car stores aren’t ever going away.

Motor Trend would be smart to just crush this and any other highly modified project vehicle.

There’s no mention from the seller as to whether the engine runs or if the car moves under its own power. The install does look complete and there’s a cooling system and a battery so there’s no obvious reason for it not to.

I agree that you should buy a shop, rather than buy the cars. The shop can allow you to have foster children, er, I mean cars. You get to see them, then send them home to their parents.
