My main concern would be reliability and maintenance, as it’s German, thus the battery probably has dozens of unnecessary moving parts that are failure prone and expensive to repair.

For a manual this is firmly NP, the problem is the market is irrational for any v12 Ferrari right now.

I love the aftermarket wheels.  Very OEM+ look to them.

I test drove one a couple years ago - couldn’t see a damn thing out of it. Soul has much better visibility and more interior space.

But it’s not as practical as the Soul, doesn’t have the upright seating the soul does, the soul stands out while the Ioniq kind of blends in the same way a Prius does

maybe you’re just a d!ck

Are you climing the Ioniq is NOT soulless ?

Nice Price. These are really nice little cars, as long as you pay close attention to the tortuously-laid out cooling system. And while the ‘88s had that much-improved Lotus tuned suspension, replacement parts are a fiar bit more expensive.

What about the forgotten love child of the Soul and Ioniq, the Kia Niro?

Ioniq is a damn fine car that virtually nobody knows about. It has all the efficiency of a Prius, doesn’t look like a constipated alien, and has the best warranty in the business. It’s not fun per se - that’s not it’s design intent - but the interior is nice, roomy and quiet, it sips fuel, and the Plug-In Hybrid model

The Ioniq is also a good car, it can be the other half!

I don't own a Kia Soul. I never intend to own a Kia Soul. But I know 3 people who have them, and for reasons I cannot comprehend, they love love them.

The radio is hidden behind a door, but has aux controls on the left side of the steering wheel. If you still want your phone to play music, etc, you can mount your phone and send a feed the radio. This isn’t my car, but you can see how it works.

Don’t forget this gem:

S2000's have a face plate that comes down to cover the radio. It’s that big blank spot right above the gear shift.

Hidden behind a door for driver engagement.

Call me when the Volvo that’s for sale is a 262

Sure, why not? If I needed a second beater — and this one’s condition is almost too nice to be described that way — I’d willingly plunk down the cash. We had a Pontiac Bonneville GP with the same or similar 3800 engine that was satisfying and reliable.

Unlike most vehicles that have lived a life south of the salt belt, there is no definite NP for any 18 year old vehicle with Pennsylvania plates, until it’s been up on a lift, and you do a personal inspection of the underside. It’s not unusual to have to dispose of seemingly decent looking older vehicles here in PA,

I stand by the adage that the difference between 2WD and 4WD is how far from civilization you get stuck.
