Why are you so insecure that you are unable to handle disagreement?

The union thing is shitty.  Period.

It gets only an EPA-estimated 100 miles of range

COMPLETELY different cars on a completely different platform. If anything, the Seville was the first car to indicate GM’s styling direction for the next two decades. It’s an unquestionably significant car.

That is a matter of opinion, and yours is quite wrong.

Every time I see one of these 75-79 Sevilles, I am consistently struck with how timeless the design is. It simply doesn’t look like a 45 year old car.

Being a reformed VW fanboy, it’s funny to see some of the first comments here. Some answers for the culturally uninformed:

who wants to ride in a Aurus Senat knock off?

Ha... My 914 1.8 took the opposite tack — a speedo that reads to 150 with an engine that could never come close.

Over here in Europe you can get a pretty nice one for around $1000. One with hail damage... $300?

This generation had problems with the diesel injection pump. It went thru many revisions. When these cars were new a bad injection pump tossed metal into the system requiring full diesel injection system replacement. It was a $10k repair bill. VW tried to not pay for under warranty. This generation should be avoided

No, WE (the enthusiasts) aren’t. The general public who are going to buy tons of these and then take them on graded gravel roads do not care in the slightest and wouldn’t buy a manual version. Subaru knows where the money is.

Saw this year’s ago. Points for follow through.

Damned shocking ain’t it?

I suspect he is talking about a Section 179 deduction where he could deduct the purchase price from his income. But, that deduction only applies if you use the vehicle more than 50% for business. I did some quick research and could not figure out if simply commuting to work would qualify as business use for this type
