Why is the Challenger called ancient, and yet we give Toyota a pass for almost all of their body on frame vehicles?

If you are trying to buy a new or used manual from the dealer, “No these are really in demand so it commands a premium price. There are people waiting in line for this!”. Selling or trading in a manual to a dealer, “Nobody wants these. It will sit on the lot and be impossible to sell”.

Maybe one of the largest and most successful carmakers on Earth sees more value in delivering reasonably-priced products with mass appeal over competing with Pedoman and his magical tent cars by blowing R&D on expensive pseudo-luxury EVs in a niche market.

I think he more means tablets that are effectively taped onto the dash.  As if the designers couldn’t be bothered to actually incorporate them into a cohesive design.

Personally, I’m concerned about the lack of wood paneling.

Remember...if it’s not brown, a wagon, tiny, weird or with a manual transmission then any member of the Jalopnik staff has to default hate it.

My wife and I have been talking about a new car for a while, and the end of year plus potential recession has been giving me more incentive to look into it, but the reality is that finances still just aren’t really there and her car has been running okay since the transmission was repaired under a technical service…

I see this as the Hubby going Full Dangerfield and trying to get something new into his marriage.

I’m willing to bet airline numbers are a lot worse when you consider just getting through security is borderline sexual assault 100% of the time. Then you factor in sitting next to stangers for multiple hrs at a time.
