I thought so too. That doesn't look like a water moccasin at all. I'm guessing the reporter assumed it was what with all the water everywhere. If it had been on a chunk of coral he would've called it a coral snake. If meth heads were trying to steal it and recycle it he'd have called it a copperhead etc.
Good. Fuck snakes.
This.....if they were to do that.....grr. it'd be enough to make me rip the nest off the wall. Forcing login on the mobile app every time is annoying...Ads on my thermostat would be a deal breaker.
Hey, anyone remember that time when Jalopnik posted that video of these morons doing it with an Accord (I think it was) and the car flipped, sending all of them flying out, body parts (and lifeless corpses) a strewn across the dusty landscape? And then we were told that it's a REGULAR occurrence??!
Bottom line, they can say whatever reason they want for retiring it. But the real reason is that the air-frames are ageing ... we have already raided the bone yard for spare titanium components with less hours and now the current fleet is reaching air time and fatigue limits, there are no more spare parts and the…
This would be handy if one gets "kidnapped" by the cops.
Zero claims up to 130 miles per charge, less if you're doing straight highway cruising. A stone-dead battery requires an overnight charge. But as Zach from Carbon Negative put it, while you probably wouldn't ride it from Vegas to New Orleans, the Zero is great as a daily rider/around-town commuter.
It is just a cover that was not locked. Not a big deal.
Yep, pretty much all the studies tell me is "ease into it". When I wore the VFFs honestly it took a while to have my toes all spread so wide, but after a few weeks of 1-2 mile runs I could confidently do 4-5 miles and all my knee pain was gone. It wasn't the shoes, but they forced me into a better foot strike.
I do own a pair of FiveFingers, and I use them for more than just running. I can ride my bike and swim in them, and I think they work great in a triathlon setting. Do I run in them everyday? No, but I can attest to the benefits of the calf muscles strengthening.
Jason can you please tag Motorcycle Safety Foundation in stories like this as well as a reminder to riders to please, gear up.
Dress for the slide, not the ride. All the gear, all the time.
Armor very much helped save my life and also made recovery when the inevitable motorist did hit me all that much faster.
Unfortunatel…
In some sick way, I'd almost rather my remaining grandmother die like a lawless badass than the way my other 3 grandparents have gone: multilple aneurisms and a vegetative state; cerebral hemhorrage while sleeping; and a protracted 3-year battle with Alzheimers in a nursing home.
My plan....don't die.
WHERE WAS OBAMA WHEN THIS HAPPENED?? HE CLAIMS TO CARE AND BE A GOOD FATHER BUT THEN HE JUST LETS HIS KIDS GET FOLLOWED??? I BET HE WAS IN THE SAME PLACE HE WAS WHEN BENGHAZI HAPPENED, THIS IS JUST LIKE BENGHAZI! AHHHHHHHH
Remember kids, Don't use the slot, go for the hole every time. You'll be safer in the long run.
This is why I carry nuts and bolts in my tank bag. Toss one or two over your shoulder and they back off.
Half the population is of below average intelligence.
that isn't the point to disease. There is no point to disease. Any attempt to give a reason why is a shabby attempt to provide a biological replacement for god.
First: You can totally get 150+ out of that motor. I've seen it done in a snowmobile.
Second: As much as hybrids are overplayed and all, this car just screams to be a through the road hybrid. Electric motor powering the front wheels, 660 turbo powering the rear wheels. That honestly sounds like a ton of fun.
