I have to admit that "getting lost" is part of the charm due to finding the unexpected, like you mentioned. It also helps pad out the oft-criticized "fetch-it" quests. The combat is still bananas though.

Thanks for coming out mom and dad!

ZING (that's the sound of dissent bouncing off my bulletproof snark)

I thought "superhero spectacular" implied "overlong and intermittently enjoyable" at this point. Zing! Zing? ZING

I need to play a less honorable character soon, as my level 40-something Khajiit Azuran witch's only exposure to the DB is blowing them up on the highway. I also want to get run through on the evil side of the Dawnguard DLC, but I'm having a hard time letting this character go. I'm hoping she'll retire after the

Yeah, I think Aronofsky's extreme/unique vision always gets my respect, and I'm a sucker for a giant, scene-chewing Crowe. (I just learned that Crowe is playing Jekyll in Cruise's Mummy which I'm now obligated to watch.)

That's a much more positive take!

Marriage is one long escort mission with no instructions and awkward controls. Congrats!

I, too, have struggled with Spelunky obsession, hundreds of gory deaths, but I have managed to beat the "easy" ending a few times.

I still wake up with night sweats and the echo of broken repair hammers ringing in my ears…

Who you callin furless, shroom??

I started playing this on the gamecube about 14 years ago and those damn animals still chastise me for not playing. "I haven't seen you in 412 weeks! Where have you been! *pout*" II keep hoping they'll start worshipping me in my absence.
