Why not just put all money in savings, plan what you need to spend money on, then take that amount out of savings and put it in checking? When checking hits zero, you have spent the allowable money. Helps with saving those unexpected reimbursements and bonuses you get in your paychecks as well...

I’ve been very interested in the mechanics of clocks recently. Infact there are kits out there where you can build your own (woodentimes.com). I’m thinking I’m going to give it a go and see if I can get my own clock built and accurately telling time.

You can’t add energy to a closed system as you seem to imply by saying “thereby reheating the universe”...the galaxies just transferred their energy to other areas of the universe.
