I'd heartclick your comment if I could. I'd always thought of Jalopnik as a more 'cultured' bunch of car enthusiasts (compared to all the Civc/Evo/BMW/Forza/GT5 forums), so I'm genuinely surprised to see how much hate there is for drifting here.

Just a shame we don't see cars on this course more often. People sometimes talk of the Nordschleife as the ultimate road course (as in public road, since that's what it technically is), but I bet that's only because of the amount of exposure it's received in the media.

For some reason, when I read that she intentionally crashed a car, I had an image of her doing a handbrake turn at high speed and smashing the passenger side of the car into a tree, and badly injuring at least one of the assailants...

If not a classic, then a future classic. Rock-solid, bulletproof mechanicals, and, with so many being sold, parts aren't difficult to find. Plus it really does look timeless - who knew it came out in the 80s?. My teacher in school's got one (a 200E), and I'm trying to work up the courage to ask him for a ride in it.
