I got that all the time in my Honda S2000 that was a model year 2000. 16 years old and people are asking what that new model is.

At first I was like “nuh-uh”, but then I realized that 2011 was, in fact, a hair shy of 10 years ago now.
I just wanted to drop in and say that I think your new newsletter popups have finally broken my compulsion to use this site (and the other gawker sites). So, thanks, in a way.
I leased an i3 for 3 years as my only car, worked fine, but winter range will plummet. I got 150 miles in normal summer driving, and about 80-90 in winter on highway. For holiday trips I just carpooled with my brother. Monthly payment was only $400 and the savings for fuel was a nice bonus.
The only complaint about this awesome story is the title makes it sound like it was someone’s personal car, not a prepped M4 by a business that makes cars designed for this...
Why? Serious question.
Another article by the worse writer on the site. Pretty disingenuous and hypocritical to point out how those in the self driving business no longer talk ad nauseam about self driving...mainly because a few sorry writers treat speculation of future technology being delivered as some sort of vow. They are damned if they…
No
Holy. Fucking. Shit. Sandwiches. Batman.
Can you guys have Jason or David pen that?
Yes! A nuanced discussion about what needs to happen to achieve the 2035 goal, and what it would take to achieve it more quickly.
Doing what they’re doing is a far more complicated policy decision than you’re identifying - with plenty of complications and problems that make 2035 an aggressive deadline. Just a few of them:
I think a better title would be “The Grille Isn’t the Only Problem”
I’ve been on this god forsaken site virtually since the beginning, and the “enjoy the free blog” argument never ceases to be bullshit. This is not a blog. These are writers paid to provide content for a platform that expects to grow an audience and make money. Asking them to be better, particularly when a good portion…
It doesn’t explicitly state causation. Those two things happened in that order.
On point.
Neutral - Carvana isn’t a manufacturer selling new cars, Tesla is.
Big difference in new car dealership franchise laws/requirements and used car re-sellers.
Ugh. People make me want to pull my hair out sometimes. I was discussing the upcoming Z with someone on here and they finally said “I just wish someone would build a manual, RWD, 300 hp sports car and then price it at $30K? What’s so hard about that?” I wanted to scream “Then go buy one right now before it gets…
Exactly, was going to comment exactly the same thing. Dumbest thing said on here in a long time, and that’s saying a lot. No matter how you feel about it, that technology and service is coming and developing, very stupid to say you would “simply find another business to do”.
