I’ll take “What is editorial oversight” for 300, Alex.

Beat me to it. Back to not clicking on his stuff. This is amateur hour.

This is a nope. Cool looking and rare car, but I’ve driven a couple of Rs and they aren’t that special. A little faster, a little stiffer, but they definitely are not what I’d call agile. The S40 was always the weakest of this generation as well and not recommended by an old Volvo enthusiast acquaintance.

Only if you don’t eat it before it gets to that point.

Got it. Sarcasm doesn’t come over well across text, and since “sedan good” has been a stance taken by bloggers on this site before I wasn’t able to tell.

So you spent a bunch of words complaining about how the Taos is too similar to the Tiguan, but really you only care because they are crossovers not sedans?

Why not just save the time and write “sedan good” as the whole article and be done with it?

I just butt dialed my sister two weeks ago. Was on the phone with my wife while driving (hands free) and I ended the call when I got out, I had the phone unlocked in my hand when I hit the hang up button. The phone (OnePlus 8) typically shuts off the screen and thereby locks itself when put in a pocket/face down, but I

What he’s getting at is something he tried several months ago. Tesla apparently has (or had? dunno not a Tesla fan) a “no haggle” policy. Erik equated Tesla changing MSRP with haggling, even though they’re completely different things, and tried to use that to get a dig at Tesla for going against their own policy.

And

Erik has made this moronic argument several times and been eviscerated in the comments for it every time. Yet he tries it again. It’s no wonder I only visit this blog once or twice a day now instead of having an open tab for it.

Rory if you read this, please get Erik under control.  This ship can’t afford to sink any

I’d say stop texting and driving, but who are we kidding - reaction time doesn’t really matter when pedestrians are the ones passing you.

Dang it Andrew. Another one of the good ones gone. You were my favorite writer on here, and always kept it real. No clickbait, no hot takes, just an auto enthusiast writing for other auto enthusiasts. Best of luck but damn will this place miss you.

The wheels are fantastic.

Agreed, an old boss of mine had a loaded black first gen. It was a great looking vehicle and honestly, looked more trucklike than this thing. it still looks like an SUV that had a sawzall taken to it after the B pillar, and if I’m honest the front end still looks like an SUV. I think it’s the rounded headlights that

It’s insane to me that I can now say when people ask what my car is and if it’s new (because no one has any idea what a 350Z is anymore), I can say no, it’s 15 years old.

IMO, they always have looked awkward.  Too much junk in the trunk.

That was my thought. Looks like some fat slicks in the back.

Took the words out of my mouth. This is a drool-worthy car that will break necks wherever you go, and also probably is still a hoot to drive (until it breaks down).

NP regardless of if it is a wise financial move or not.

I was in high school then, which tracks with my general feeling at the time that I was experiencing the worst national culture America had yet to offer.

I’m pretty sure it has been done?  Maybe not legally, but I have played emulated versions with updated rosters.  I remember sending a screenshot to my brother years ago with Suh celebrating a sack for the Lions.

Having a ranch with the main floor free of carpet might pay off... lots of room to make a huge course. But, this looks like a disaster for smaller kids to play. MK8 on the Switch works because it can keep the little ones on course if they get lost. Here you’d have to stop the race, and the grownup would need to walk
