I work IT at a global retailer and outdoor gear is KILLING it right now. Up year over year in spite of the pandemic.

Midwest me is jealous of your salt-free roads.

First turbo blew on the way home from the used dealer even after doing a PPI at a Subaru dealer (first owner probably dumped it knowing that would happen) Removed the bolt during the new turbo install along with UP/DPs, and second turbo still only lasted ~50k.

Even with the banjo removed, these turbos never lived much past 100k. First turbo at 110k is a time bomb.

Unless something changed since I was in the scene 5-6 years ago.

I’m on my third automatic Mazda.  They are not alone in slowly dropping the manual transmission.  Even their autos are a joy to drive.  They still “get it”.

Manual buyers being passionate does not mean that automatic buyers are instafluencers, FYI.

I had turbo > timing > turbo. Sold for less than the labor on the heads once the second turbo started grinding :/

You really need to drive one with a snail.  My ‘05 was on a very conservative stage 2 tune and could walk my modded and tuned 350Z (in a straight line at least, on a road course it would have no chance obviously).  These cars are quick.

This is a really nice example, albeit with some questionable mods (muffler delete specifically) and priced several thousand too high. This would be an absolute blast to drive around until it broke down and rusted to pieces. And at 110k, even with the owner claiming to do the major things recently, the turbo is going

As easy as it is to hate Tesla Musk you have to give the company credit.

Jalopnik and many of the commenters here love to hate Tesla. I’m not sure why, other than Musk.

Take your emotional response to his idiocy out of the equation (which is an easy thing to do if you’re an adult) and what you have left is a company actually moving us to a cleaner future.

That doesn’t mean you need to

Very much this. Even if you’re saving 10% off the top and a few bucks a month in interest, you’re still signing up for seven years of car payments when we’re in a historically bad situation both with a pandemic and economic recession at once. The future isn’t clear seven weeks from now much less seven years.

The limited availability makes me sad. My OP6 has been a fantastic phone. I’ve been eyeing a 7 or 7 Pro for an upgrade in a year, but if this comes in at the same price point and is available in the US that could be it instead.

Here’s to hoping for a flat screen and popup front camera... too bad the 7 and 7 Pro only

Now playing

I for one hate the bumper indicators. Your eyes are trained to glance near the brake lights, as 99% of the time that is where indicators are. The recent Sportage was the worst with this. They put the indicators where you assume the reflectors are.

If you ask me, I would side with the fact that it was intentional. But I don’t know and Justin doesn’t know.

There is PLENTY of real, provable racism going on all over the country every day. Don’t waste page space on this crap, report on the real, provable stuff.

It doesn’t matter if it is reasonable or not. If you ask me, I would side with the fact that it was intentional. But I don’t know and Justin doesn’t know.

Once again, we have a better comment than the article itself for the most part. I don’t think that Bubba will need to live with anything, as he’s not the one that cried foul. He just reacted to what others presented to him, and I’d have done the same. But Justin is really, REALLY reaching here. I mean get a load of

I’m ashamed to admit it, but I was born in the mid eighties in the upper midwest, and this is the very first time I’ve ever heard about this holiday. Granted, I consume very little media of any kind outside of automotive and tech news, but still it seems very odd that something that is recognized in 43 states has

For crying out loud... that’s the joke. They are both underwhelming, but one is brand new and one is 11 years old.
