Hope you are making a lateral move. We wouldn’t want you to be climbing any corporate ladders or making too much money.
I’m from the cult of unbiased journalism.
Whether they are profitable or not isn’t the point - that’s a different debate.
Musk is a raving idiot.
Tesla is a car company that makes great cars (again, from what I read, never even sat in one).
Those two things are both true, although Raph can’t seem to understand it. And apparently, neither can you.
We’ve talked before about how Musk’s whole business plan is to run on hype,
I am jealous of a few things every time I read about your situation:
1) You have so much time to do all the car things! 3 kids means the spark plug change I did last week was something I had meant to get to for over 9 months.
I’m guessing that this means it doesn’t communicate with the internet unless Valorant is running? In which case, Riot could tell the tool to run a specific check next time that player logs based on cheating reports.
Just conjecture, though.
Umm... there have been 4-5 departures in the past year, including the old EIC. This site is now 2-3 good writers and trash like Balaban and Raph and Erik.
“If literally one thing goes wrong—if the team needs to call for help or a tow truck, if they get stopped, if they crash—literally anything goes wrong here and these guys would be pulling resources from an otherwise already overloaded system, not to mention potentially increasing the risk of contracting…
They don’t explicitly endorse it, but they give it publicity and profit from it in clicks, advertisements, etc. The Drive employs that gnat Alex Roy and Jalopnik pushed his terrible documentary on us several times last year. He even had the gall to drop into the comments and try to argue his case.
Get this trash off…
Especially when you can do a simple Ctrl+F on the page he linked and see that “Renault” isn’t even in the article.
I don’t think these blogs are being reviewed before being posted any longer. Not enough people around.
Which is fine for people who write about things they know. Not so much for Shilling.
I... like the alcantara inserts on my custom seat covers. They don’t heat up in the summer, they don’t get cold and hard in the fall, they are soft and comfortable to sit on, and they clean easier than fabric.
BUT, it’s a terrible material for anything that needs touched by skin like a steering wheel or armrest, and…
I have never agreed with you on something more thoroughly than this.
Came here to say this - the name is brilliant. Something about it just is perfectly aligned with the design, material choices, color pallette etc. Even the Polestar logo itself fits.
From an aesthetics and marketing perpsective, this thing is an A+ and is just about ready to turn me into a fanboy.
I’m not sure how to take this comment, given Fahey’s recently-aquired disability... hopefully it was in good-natured jest?
First Gear: Furloughing is going to be everywhere in another month if things can’t open up. Our company (global retailer) furloughed nearly a third of staff in certain departments recently.
Agreed. If Alex Roy catches a guardrail at 140mph on his next attempt, I don’t think I’ll shed a tear.
RIP my newly moved-in next door neighbor who is an Infiniti salesman. I’ll be watching for the moving trucks.
