Unless you are a “friend of the site” and have a new documentary about street racing to peddle. Then it’s A-OK and you may get several articles about you!

For $800, you can also have a whole-home humidifier installed (assuming you own a home) along with several purifiers.
I practiced a martial art for ~five years in my early 20's. You’re right, most people laugh and ask if there were little kids in my class (including my wife). I’ve learned to just roll with it and tell my kids that daddy used to be a ninja.
Oddly, that training never left me wanting to watch MMA.
It’s absolutely possible there are circumstances at play here that make the HOA a bad guy. But based on the evidence we have, the HOA looks fine. They have a rule, said we’ll waive the rule for you if you need us to, but right now you don’t need us to, so we aren’t going to.
Yep, nothing to see here. Their response was perfectly reasonable. This is just the usual “down with the man” crap that plagues this site.
Tom, he said he wanted something reliable. A 15 year old EJ with a snail ain’t that.
The Subaru Tom recommended will have the same issue.
Gotta be the Civic here.
I mean... it’s worth far more than any of the cars in my garage, and I give them all a buff/wax once a year.
Shiny Primer has been a color now for a few years. I think my kids may even have a Crayon in that shade now.
I posted it before about this car, but I get cold sweats thinking about trying to detail this thing with a DA buffer.
And my point is that if someone can afford to spend $500 to borrow a phone for two years, they can afford to spend $500 to own a phone which is 90% as good as the S20 and either keep it or sell it after those two years are up.
Gave me big FNAF vibes. it’s those dead eyes.
I can afford $1,000 on a phone. I just choose not to because it’s a complete waste. And $500 to rent a phone is even worse, because you are forced to get a new phone after the rental is up.
Buying a new phone at launch much like buying a new car off the lot, just on a much smaller scale. This article is describing…
Apparently you do... this thread is a year old! :)
This isn’t buying the phone for $500. This is renting the phone for $500. Why on earth would you want to throw away money like that? Go spend $500 on a Oneplus 7 or something similar. You’d get 90% of the phone for the same price and - here’s the kicker - you get to KEEP IT after two years are over.
That’s what I assumed. A coworker of mine had two Volts (first then second gen) and I don’t remember ever hearing a peep about battery issues or replacement over the years. I hadn’t even considered it was a maintenance item until this article.
I’ve used Zoom, Skype, Teams, and Webex in my various places of employment. For me as an end user, Webex > Zoom > Teams >>> Skype.
Assuming the battery situation is as good as the rest of the car appears, NP. 6kk for what appears to be a rust-free, clean, and very efficient DD with 150k is pretty good. Offer 5.5k, split the difference, and stop paying for gas during your commute to work.
If we commuted to work, that is.
This site is getting closer to just Balaban and Raph every day. I weep for our future if David ever leaves.
Very fitting to go out in style like this. Another good one gone, for sure... you’ll be sorely missed. Best of luck at BI!
