I’ve grown up going to lakes/public beaches with boats and whatnot at least a few times a summer, but I’m not a boater myself. So with that disclaimer... would you be worried about the silent nature of EVs on the water? Any chance that could lead to accidents?

Indeed.  You aren’t going to find one in good shape for under 10k that also isn’t ready to blow some combination of head gasket and turbo. 

Also that USB-C port is probably worthless as I doubt it universally supports the various “quick” charging capabilities of different phone makes.  It’s already a pain finding car chargers that support your specific model’s proprietary gigavoltohmage that will let the phone actually quick charge. 

My only complaint is how they feel more like piloting a really agile tank, rather than aiming a scalpel compared to my current toy. Maybe that’s due to size, maybe weight, but I prefer driving a smaller and lighter vehicle even if I’m giving up half a second to 60mph.

Also, it looks better before.  The “redesign” makes it a bland bar of soap that’s way too topheavy in details.  They basically just took an eraser to the bottom half of the car.

They pushed the greenhouse back. The CTS was closer to a 3 box... and the sloping hood hood and trunk made the whole car appear to droop on boot ends. Sort of egg-like.

Eh, I think it looks great. They’re finally getting away from the primarily vertical lighting we’ve had since the CTS debuted in Reloaded. The flatter hood and more raked a pillar really helps get away from the egg shape their sedans have had as well.  The only thing that isn’t doing it for me is the tail lights.

Yeah but... all 12 or whatever minutes of it?  I had hoped for at LEAST teh GIF footage at the end.
