Sometimes, it all works out innuendo.

She’s from Buffalo. It is my duty as a Buffalonian to point this out about any person from Buffalo in the public eye.

“The firm is named for Howard Roark, the protagonist in Ayn Rand’s novel, The Fountainhead.” - source: their own damned website

I went to school in Buffalo and have noticed that Bills fans usually follow the same pattern for every season. Pre-Season/First Game: “This is our year, team looks good, best in years.” After 2-3 straight wins: “This team is unstoppable we’re going to the Super Bowl again! Finally it’s our time!” After 4 Straight

They also have a very lopsided sense of Football Justice. It’s all about those damn flags. I’ve never seen someone root harder for penalties than my father-in-law. For a l0w-key MAGAhead, he sure does want more oversight of his football.

I didn’t know you lived with my dad

Am a Steelers fan, and this is largely true of many of us. I’m not one of these, don’t care as much as I used to, but a guy I know is this to a T. We invited him to watch the Super Bowl when they lost to the Packers. It was grating to have him in the room because he wanted to blow up the entirety of Pittsburgh any

This was a very real topic of discussion in every newsroom that I ever worked in. The higher ups always thought that no reasonable person could mistake the comments section for factual, newspaper-endorsed information. Hey, leave the breakfast beers out of this.

“He CHOSE to smoke weed instead of earning millions to play a kid’s game!”

I never try to be that guy but I question why they doth protest too much because these people will often mention in passing that they’ve “been thinking about cutting back”, it’s like ok so obviously you’re uncomfortable w how much you drink because you do clearly drink too much, but you don’t actually want to do

Good for you.  I quit a few months ago and damn.  Some people can’t handle it.  I try to be chill and hang out with my “drinking friends” but they will repeatedly bring up the fact that I’m not drinking.  We are all professionals in our mid-30s.  It’s been . . . surprising.

Great advice about finding sober activities. Been six months and I’m realizing how far I have to go and how much is out there for sober people. You may lose a lot of people that you think are friends, or they are drinking acquaintances, whatever; gonna have to find new people or new ways to interact with old people. I

Famous last words from a rainbow colored blip on our radar.

That actually is true.

I almost feel bad for her if she didn’t profess an ideology that has killed hundreds of millions
