My father worked for Delta for 25 years after the (union) airline he worked for was acquired by them in the 80s. Every year his job got worse and his pay stagnated and his willingness to do a good job decreased. Hint to all service related employers: Treat your employees well so they treat your customers well. Why is

Well that’s just like your opinion, man.

I’m not THAT much better than that, let’s  be honest.

Counterpoint: The Karlmann King appears to be the absolute finest movie car for the antagonist in a near-future dystopian setting I’ve ever seen.

Goddamned AOC-loving socialist.

So, wait, are you suggesting there could be a flaw in all the US safety bodies basically leaving it up the the companies they’re meant to regulate to regulate themselves?! How unAmerican of you!

This is for a perfect condition stock car with no miles, this is a one out of 1000 car. There are still plenty that have been driven, questionably modified, or need some love for pretty cheap. It’s just like muscle cars. There are ‘69 Camaros well into the triple digits, and ones in the mid 4 digits.

All our cars will be self-driving by the time this road is completed, right? RIGHT??? Therefore it’ll be a train of drafting self-driving vehicles running at 100mph. Essentially, a cheaper and more personal version of the rail train that they were planning on, anyway!

I bet the pilots were giddily requesting their ground speed readout from ATC, only to be one-upped by some asshole in an SR-71.

It is the God of hot hatches.

I’d say it’s a 50/50% chance at best. Yeah, there are a lot of rednecks looking for a fight, but many of them wouldn’t have a clue what to do if actually confronted.

So is there a way to build it with the engine in the back? Asking for GM.

I mean, it’s a hollow insult at this point, but if you wanted to illustrate “delicate special snowflakes”, who feel “victimized and triggered” by the existence of people who are completely ignoring them, and desperately want to create a “safe space” for themselves, I don’t think you could come up with a better example

They are banned, as in, they don’t meet DOT standards. Lack of enforcement is the problem.

So irritating. My new favorite part of all these “bros” is the trend of putting aftermarket LED headlights in halogen housings. They light up everything but the road. Oh, and they have to put them in their fog lamp housings as well and drive around shining with absolutely not one patch of fog.

“Jerklopnik.”  This guy should write speeches for Trump.

Here’s the Toyota Supra Face before you’re supposed to see it.

Nobody doubted it’s practicality. The reason it was and still is terrible is the design.

This! You beat me to it. Came here to post that a nuclear fizzle was a plot device in Tom Clancy’s last good novel. Complete with a very detailed, readable explanation of how a nuclear bomb works and what a fizzle is. Need to re-read that one.

For you Clancy fans, this is the sort of reaction that happened in the Jack Ryan novel The Sum of All Fears.
