What you’ve got there is an example of “warrior training,” which teaches cops to treat every encounter as one that could get them killed and to prioritize their own safety above everything else. And look at the magazine. That has to be at least a 30 round capacity magazine. Since when is every street disturbance met with a military response? What... a 19 round Glock isn’t enough? Bad optics along with some bad policing.

My grandpa says that when he was in the army his drill sergeant would’ve snapped the index finger in half on any soldier that touched the trigger of their gun that wasn’t actively firing. Lack of trigger discipline is a guaranteed way to kill an innocent / friendly. Clearly police don’t find trigger discipline…

The cops had already determined they were going to try to shoot someone when they got word that the parties involved in this altercation were either black or homeless.
