Yeah, I’ve never made it far enough to see if buying a system requires being signed in. Only thing I have seen so far is the mention that some items require it.
I honestly don’t know why Sony hasn’t already done this with their PlayStation Direct website. Let users sign in with their PSN profile, get a system ordered, and have it ship when it becomes available.
It took me a few spots when things went up for pre-order, but I managed to get one ordered around then. Can’t speak to how bad it was after that, so there’s that. Anyone I knew around that time got one, though.
I think I know like two people right now that want a PS5 and actually have one. They managed to squeak in…
I know they’ve sold a lot of units—big techy launch things always have and always will—but there was no avoiding the fact that this month’s next-gen console launches felt a little...muted.
They’ve done away with the email option, unless it’s really buried in some obscure part of Amazon’s web labyrinth. I used that for everything and had pretty good results.
Knowing my luck with Amazon customer service these days, they would just tell you ‘tough shit’ and then end the chat session.
I’m wondering that myself. I remember it being possible when the Vita came out. That was a big reason I ended up getting a Vita was due to having a small library of games ready to go beforehand.
This is extremely out-of-character.
Well, fudge. I wasn’t thinking about ever playing this at all, but that’s a pretty neat costume...
Now to see if they’ll ever patch in GC Controller/Adapter support for Sunshine.
The camera in SM64 damn near ruins the game. It was really trying near the end of my run with it, as the camera seems to fight any attempt to get a decent view of anything.
Other than that and Mario feeling a bit too slippery at times (please stop sliding on your belly so easily, Mario ;_;), the game holds up rather…
One of my favorite songs of the past few years. This and モス are some jams.
This sounds like a delightful follow-up to Yoshi’s Cookie.
Yeah, I was being cheap, and waiting for something a bit lower. Wasn’t working during most of those sales, too.
Shoot, I was still waiting for the physical release of Aftermath to drop in price, and now it’s already been replaced. It’ll be 2022 before I get to play this.
I’m surprised he saw it at all. I stopped watching Macaw once it felt like he wasn’t paying attention to chat unless you were donating bits or subscribing.
That being said, he always seemed chill enough that something like what you mentioned wouldn’t phase him.
The arcade version of SF:TM is super jank, but it’s fun for that very reason. The console version is much less so, but still a competent enough Street Fighter game. Definitely holds up better than Toshinden has.
Contains some real stinkers, like Street Fighter: The Movie
Admittedly, additional ads do mean more money for creators. As industry insider and streamer Devin Nash put it: “Creators deserve a higher cut of Twitch CPM rates, I 100% agree. This, however, is a separate discussion. The ad deal is: 5% loss in content (3/60 min), 3-7% loss in viewers (people leaving from ads) for…
