Possible franchise-killer? Nah, that’s a bit much.

Pretty much how QA operates. You go into projects (especially short ones) knowing at least 2-3 months will be spent in crunch. That makes for 6-day work weeks with 10-12 hour days and the possibility of working eight or nine days straight.

Wouldn't that be a team-based comparison instead? Since if Jordan was out, he wouldn't be a factor at all, just like Curry wasn't for this.

I don’t work as a developer. However, I have done QA for a major publisher for some time now. A lot of the same stuff still rings true: long hours, months of crunch, poor work/life balance, low pay. We’ve even been told, in an off-handed way, that we are always replaceable. There’s lots of unhired applicants or

I’m getting a mix of the scale of the 2014 Godzilla and the visual touches of Toho’s Godzilla films. This seems like good news to me.

I personally like the idea that certain aspects of the game are out of your hands. It’s a good chance to take people out of their comfort zones and try something different for a bit.

Fun little demo. The environment choices are cool and there’s a bit to explore and find. But, man, defending during combat doesn't feel right. This is especially pronounced during the fight at the end of the demo.

One can never go wrong with any of those ingredients being added to noodles.

Certainly not a surprising report, even if it is ultimately not true. I could see Nintendo ramping down production a bit if the NX ends up being a thing this year.

Poor Wii U can’t catch a break sometimes, though.

Well, hello there, Dusk Shadow. Looks like you'll be my new controller for PC real soon.

Ditto. I’ve picked up a few titles last fall for my Wii U, like Yoshi’s Wooly World. Fun game, but it didn't hold my interest. I'd like to play my Wii U more, but anything I want to play, I already have. Need some more goodies for it.

For a system that will supposedly come out this year, they are very silent about the NX platform. And Miitomo comes out this month. Unless they are doing a separate Direct for that, they haven’t said much about that, either.

Can't wait to see what awful things people can think to say about this.

Oh, this got definitely pushed to hit before Capcom’s FY ended. Gotta make that last minute scratch, regardless of potential bad press.

If you have never worked on a title with lots of online connectivity, you will never understand how difficult it can be to get it right on the first try. I’d love to elaborate, but my work NDA prevents me.

Someone is not aware that games are tough and shit happens. It will get resolved.

I’ve ran into the Battle Lounge crash a number of times.

Bummer for FreeStyle. I wasn’t a fan of the ‘Live’ portion of GH Live, but GHTV is a blast. They did a good job with the game overall. Here’s hoping GHTV continues to get some support for a while.

Exactly. If there is no legit way to get a movie/album/game, then you have to pick your poison. Nine times out of ten, I’d rather find it online than potentially overpay for it on the second-hand market.

Nail on the head. A few more sales might result from the reduction, but not much. Most folks that have torrented anything generally aren’t looking to buy the item they downloaded. Otherwise, they probably wouldn’t be using a torrent tracker to find new entertainment releases.

Though, that is not a condemnation of file
