Yes the multiple trims and powertrains make sense on this vehicle. The problem is Ford tries to apply this logic to cars like the Fusion and wonder why its not profitable.

The Ram Rebel would be the more apt comparison, and it would be down there with the trail boss

This competes with the Chevy Trail Boss and the Ram Rebel.

I think its strictly a volume thing, as Chevy was the volume leader back then, and was the best looking of the bunch. But I do agree that there are so many and they are so overdone that they just do not excite me.

I feel exactly the same way.  Even first gen Camaros really don’t get me to turn my head anymore for the same reason.

God the interiors of these things, especially the early ones, are just awful.  Talk about plastic for days.

I bought an NA Miata a couple years ago due to all the hype, and sold it after about a year and a half.

Driven through many Michigan winters without snow tires and a few with, and while they are great, they are not necessary.

AWD owners like having grip when it snows without having to change out tires twice a year.  If you dont like it you should buy something else.

Its an article soliciting comments about cars that are beloved but does nothing for us...Thanks for telling me not to buy something I don’t like and wouldnt buy.

Elon Musk is worth $134 Billion dollars. To put that in perspective, the State of California education budget for this year is $89 million dollars. Or 6% of his net worth.

I work at an automotive company and our organization sounds much more diverse than that.

I understand where this viewpoint comes from, but it points to a system that does not embrace diversity. If the numbers are this disproportionate, it stands to reason that there is still a racial divide when it comes to education and opportunities.  It could be true that Tesla is not actively discriminating against

First Bronco Sports hit the dealer late last week.

There still aren’t any fuel economy standards for vehicles at 8501 lbs GVWR and up.

Manual transmission trucks were really common in the late 90s to right around the turn of the millenium.  Then they all sort of dried up.  I knew of several people that owned 1997-2000 F150s with manuals.  Hell I had a 2002 Blazer I bought new with a manual transmission.

When you look at companies with higher quality rankings, most of them have a lot of older products and/or lower technology than peers.  Companies like Toyota build a high quality product, but they evolve them over a long time and slowly introduce new features.
