At the end of the day they signed a contract that stated they would pay X dollars for Y product. Even though the dealer made the mistake, the purchaser ultimately didn’t fulfill their part of the contact, and therefore the purchaser needs to make a good faith effort to honor the contract.

The map is pretty lame. As a Detroiter, I thought the Detroit skyline in the cubby on the 200 was kinda neat, but this is just obnoxious.

Don’t worry, they will make a TEXAS edition just for you* with a huge chrome badge complete with a big ass TEXAS yee-haw flag.

I was thinking the same thing...it looks like a 4th of July parade with all of the American flags and maps.  Waiting for tomorrow’s reveal of paratroopers in the b-pillar trim

Many asian people have an allergy to alcohol compounds where their body cannot process them due to the lack of an enzyme in their body. It is generally called “asian flush”.

Likely the result of VOC compounds off-gassing.  China in particular now has standards for the amount of off-gassing that can occur in a new vehicle, since many Asians are allergic to alcohol compounds.

Sounds like you had a cool opportunity!

I agree with this. Unions are good in theory, and the collapse of organized labor in the US has done more damage than good when it comes to average pay and benefits for everyone.

4th - These people defying mandatory hurricane evacuations and then complaining when the emergency rescue team can’t get to them quick enough are the worst.

How is the takeaway of this story not that Elon thinks he can cast an entire unibody from aluminum?  Sounds like a logistical nightmare at the body shop.

On the other side of that coin, I would expect the Union to then abide by their contractual obligation to provide workers to GM. As much as the union is important to advancing worker’s rights, benefits, and pay, the UAW is famous for being very bullish about the wrong things, and it has resulted in their numbers

My dad had a 3-cylinder Focus and it was surprisingly not bad.

Congrats on getting the old VM running.

My BIL is a deputy sheriff in Bumfuck county, AZ. He came to visit us in MI, and had to call me like 3 times to make sure he could borrow a gun cause it cost way too much to transport his on the plane ($50).

Its really not competitive. There is only one engine, and very little in the way of customization.  I think they had a good college try when they introduced the first generation, but they have been phoning it in since then, and their market share shows

That S-10 is perfection, and just screaming for a V8 swap.

I have never seen it either (I am from Michigan)

Cruises seem to attract the MAGA crowd like a moths to a light. It is like the ultimate fancy vacation to somebody who thinks Outback Steakhouse or Red Lobster is fine dining.
