I think its that grade in.... gravel not a nice paved street is the bigger point.

That’s paved... they made the qualifier that of 40% on gravel.

That’s always a fun point when you tell people that the G-Wagen or the Unimog are rated for a 100%-incline.

There are a couple streets, I forget which ones, but they make me feel like the truck is gonna fall off the hill. Some of those the cars park sideways and it’s insane, they lean over.

According to this informal article (apparently there’s no official list), a 35% would be tied for #4 in San Francisco. There’s a 41% grade, but it’s on a dead end.

Not likely, almost every single new car in the $19,000 - $29,000 MSRP range has them.

This is where I point out that “40 percent grade” is about 22 degrees. About halve the mental picture they are trying to paint. Still 22 degrees is about where blue ski runs become black diamond so it's not nothing.  It's an oddly specific claim though.

I’m not a huge fan of so much plastic on this, but I get it. The thing I cannot get however is a CVT for off-roading. I mean, I’m pretty sure most off-roaders haven’t been thinking, “If only I could just get more play and rubbery effect from my drivetrain!”

The color is fanastic! I mean this is nice and all and i think its a smart play by subaru but this is not remotely a real offroader. And for the record thats fine!
