Yeah, I went with the Integra A-Spec because I wanted the manual but I needed the hatch for specific storage reasons. Storage is perfect for my needs: I tried taking my instruments to a Honda dealer first and the Civic sedan just made it too difficult.

Great now let’s bully them into selling an Si hatch.

Couple hundred bucks for 240 whp and a potential voided drivetrain warranty. Or you know, they can offer 240 hp from the factory with a full warranty.

That’s a weird argument defending a $32k supposedly sporty car that barely makes 200 horsepower. Yes, more power so it could pull harder from 30-60. It should pull harder from 30-60 than a Toyota Sienna. Literally the point of sporty variants of econoboxes.

I am happy I scrolled through the comments before posting as I was going to post the same thing. Bring back the orange you cowards!

I was around when Honda released the Si in the 90's, which was when that car was in maximum hype, even more than today.

And you can get a non-Si Civic with the hatch. The trunk just makes the car less versatile. This is what is stopping me from trading in my GTI for an Si.

We need to bully them into bringing back Blazing Orange Pearl or some other kickass color. Red, black, white and grey...boring. WTF happened to blue? At least bring that back.

There are no options available for the Si, just white or gray paint for $455 — red and black are standard.”

Generally speaking it seems if you change the oil every 5k miles it’ll be fine as the oil will still be robust enough to handle lubrication duty.  People who do 7.5k oil changes might not be so lucky.

I miss the old 2.0T Accord Sport manual.  That thing was great.

Needs a digital shift indicator? Really?

Thats literally any forced induction DI engine and not just honda.

The oil dilution comes from people babying the engine, not running it long enough or hot enough.  Drive it like you stole it and the engine will be just fine.  If you putt-putt three miles back and forth to work with it, though, you'll have issues.  Run it hard and hot!

I have become a firm believer that all cars should just be lift backs like the TC was. You want the looks of a sedan, boom you got that, you want the giant opening of a hatch, already there. Just make one body style with the ♫♪♪best of both worldsssss♫♪♪.

The Si should come in a hatchback damnit! (And a non-metallic color that isn’t “arrest-me red”). Otherwise great car with an outstanding interior.

The Drive is better on ads has a super toxic comment section for some reason. It is all weird boomer trump supporters. I stopped visiting for that reason - the comments are half the fun.

You need an ad blocker.  They’re even available on IOS devices now.  You’ll thank me later.

That $32,265 pricetag will get you into the base Premium trim

Well below market average. Look at the Maverick. Car has gone up 25% in 4 years.
