If it works they are geniuses, if it fails it is the market’s fault.

My C-Class was an ‘05 and it was great for 13 years. I have a feeling that they were built a bit better then. However you can’t go wrong with Lexus on the long term bet.
Damn right the IS300 does. I still regret not buying a new one. I opted for a C-Class instead (which also had fantastic, clean white on black gauges with a perfect font) but those IS300s were nice cars.
I’m still a bit annoyed that I couldn’t get the cornflower blue GTI with a sunroof so I had to settle with my second choice of white.
The reason I buy white (non-metallic paint) cars because they are the easiest to color match if you need bodywork. If they made more colors without stupid metal flakes I would buy those. Note: Toyota uses single stage (no clearcoat) white paint on some of their cars which makes them a nightmare to keep clean. There is…
Dealer at purchase: “That car is extra because it’s a rare color”. Dealer at trade-in: “We can’t give you as much because it’s a hard to sell color”. Dealer when they resell it: “It commands a premium price because it’s a rare color”.
Perhaps Sammy should be called the Beige Rocker.
The best part about cruise ships is that it gets the people who would actually go on a cruise ship away from the rest of us.
I wish we could summon him for President but we live in a country full of bigots.
Yet people wait in line to buy a 4Runner which hasn’t has a major redesign in 57 years. Admittedly it is arguably the most reliable vehicle you can buy but talk about overdue for an update...
Yes, but no one here paid over $100K their Jalopnik subscription.
No. And yes.
But they are the perfect size. I had a couple 3rd Gens and figured a 5th gen TRD Off Road would be a good replacement. I traded it in after six months. (Sadly this was right before Covid hit when you were actually able to lose $5K by trading in an almost new 4Runner).
I have had a couple of 3rd Gen Runners. They are the perfect size but the inside is very tired. As for the prices... it’s just stupid. People buy hype whether they are air-cool Porsches or $60 Stanley cups.
Glad that they’ll remove the plug for easier access to the interior for a few technicians when building the plane in a hangar but reinstall the plug for 178 people whose life depends on it when plane is on fire or in the water.
I bought my 7.5 new. Would I consider a used Mk7 R? Sure if I knew the original owner and it was never modded or abused (good luck with that).
Uhhh, so that’s the problem when kissing your sister?
Yup. Bought my GTI because it has a manual. I will not buy one without.
Agreed. GTI owner here and I will not buy another GTI or R without knobs and buttons or one that has that huge fucking iPad on the dash.
