Yup, it looks like they said, “Let’s take all of our worst design ideas and put them together and see if they cancel each out out.” Instead, the bad ideas just became stronger.

There is no excuse for how bad that looks. Hell Toyota figured out how to make a Prius look great. Come on VW, get it together.

AND they stopped making the base 2-door with the the manual which was the best value. 

If we can’t have cool pop-up headlights for pedestrian safety we shouldn’t have trucks and SUVs with hoods that are 5' off the ground. 

I don’t think it’s an industry secret that the Nazis are no longer involved with VW or Mercedes Benz.

And 1139hp supercar that will cruise slowly around some city, sit a prime valet spot in front of a restaurant a couple times, and maybe be taken to 120 on the highway once or twice. Something you can do in a base Mustang... but then people wouldn’t look at you.

Just like they would have sold a shitload of VW sportwagons and All Tracks if they would have GTI’d or R’d them. 

I’ve been a motorcyclist for decades and have owned Japanese, German and Italian motorcycles. I think motorcycles are amazing machines. That said, that is one of the ugliest groups of motorcycles I have ever seen (except maybe the Triumph.) I know they are top-of-the-line go-fast machines but damn they are hideous.
