This episode was freaking awesome. I think what stood out to me most was seeing Wells terrified and crying over his wife and thinking, "Wow, it's about time the actor got to do something other than look smug, because he is DAMN good."

The "lingering horror" is exactly the type of movie I like. I'm never, ever frightened while watching scary movies because I know I'm watching a movie. But if that same movie is both entertaining to watch and has me sleeping with the light on for a month afterward…THAT'S a truly effective scary movie, in my opinion.
