“another example of Marvel Comics censoring its creators in an attempt to be apolitical, to the detriment of the company and its audience.”

I’ve read some fantastic fantasy novels in my life but over the years authors have seemed to run out of ideas.  I’m looking for some great hard sci-fi and it’s really difficult to find something new in this area.  Most things in this list are fantasy and I’m just not in the mood to be disappointed by meh level stories.

He spends time at my local B&N.  I have a few questions I’ll be asking him, as well as your question, if I ever run into him.

Well, not a ban necessarily, but how about a mandatory buyback?

The difference is very clear. There is no right to drive a car. It doesn’t exist. There is a 2nd Amendment to allow us to have firearms. This isn’t a right granted to us by the government, and this is something that most people seem to fail to grasp.

“mandatory buybacks”

Guns are too easy to get.

First of all, don’t get your climate and ecology news from Giz et al. About 98% of the time they’re either wrong or misleading. The Amazon is just fine. Most of the fires are agricultural and set purposely by farmers. This year isn’t any worse than average. Look at all the different news and blog sites saying the

Fake news.  But then again, that’s really the only thing I expect from Giz et al when it comes to climate.

What Piker said was disgusting on every level but I would defend his right to say it. As a conservative libertarian, I think he had every right to say what he said. I also think Twitch has a right to shut down this kind of speech for the sake of the brand. The only caveat is that the rules need to be applied equally

Oh, you’ve done it now.  You’ve incited the leftist crazies to come out of the woodwork.  Or is it the crazy leftists?

Google has also increasingly been facing political pressure as President Donald Trump lobs unfounded accusations about anti-conservative bias and censorship

Sorry, I just can’t get past the hole in the screen. I’ve used nothing but Galaxy Note phones since the Note 2. I’ve literally never owned anything outside of that line since. That hole is a deal breaker. If I purchased a television with a proportionately sized hole, I would take it back.  It’s just inexcusable.  I

Yeah, I’m on the east side of the metro and keep mine around 69° when I’m home. I’ll let my Nest adjust it up if I’m away from home for a couple days but never when I’m home or close to being home. My house is 2,ooo Sq feet and my bill rarely reaches $300. Of course, I’ve added extra insulation to my attic and

• 78° F when you’re home
• 85° F when you’re at work or away
• 82° F when you’re sleeping

Oh Brian, I always have to check to make sure I didn’t accidentally click on The Onion.

I’ll hold off for now with my Surface Pro 6.  I’m running Windows Pro and not Home.  I’ll wait for Microsoft to confirm they’ve fixed the update.  Then I’ll wait a while longer to make sure they don’t need to fix the fix.

A recession makes it more difficult for any president to be re-elected.  Mostly, recessions are natural cycles, which sounds weird due to the fact that they’re man-made.  The economy is one of the most complicated systems we interact with.  Weather and climate are other areas of wickedly complex systems.  It’s

“But they are the very opposite of relaxing or casual.”

It’s an excellent idea! We have this pesky First Amendment thing we need to get out of the way. Let’s keep the First Amendment but effectively circumvent it by proxy by allowing private companies to do it for the government. The government can then shut down anyone they want and retain plausible deniability. It’s
