One hour? It’s easy but one hour sounds like 3 people working under a lift kind of time estimate.

God the whole focus RS thing makes me so sad. Not necessarily the car; I still haven’t driven it. But just that America finally got its AWD American rally inspired hero and it was taken down by such idiocy.
No. There is no better and worse. It’s not up to everyday people to police others about stop signs or cel phone use and it’s even worse that the method of policing is through aggression. Leave the aggression out of your car. Leave the policing up to the police.
Sidewalks? Clearly you’ve never ridden a bike. When I used to be in shape I could ride 24-25mph for a long time(1 hour solo; 2 with a buddy to swap lead with). Try riding 25mph around dogs on leashes and kids playing chalk on a 4-5ft wide sidewalk. Not to mention sidewalks get torn up for utility work and just…
Oh I don’t condone all cyclists and I think far too many of them overestimate their predictability and safety. But the two big takeaways from the article are:
“These people break the rules so I’m okay with seeing them as subhuman and a large percentage of people using a 4000 pound vehicle to physically endanger them”
Do yourself a favor and get a 986 or 996; and really 944 and 944 S cars are still affordable. Never too late to get a Porsche.
Thank you! $33,900 is cheaper than most Evoras but by $38,000 you are looking at way nicer, lower mileage cars. I get saving pennies looking at some cars but this purchase isn’t it.
Yeah; understand but that’s usually with some semblance of a change(compression ration, power output or curve) in this instance the engines are exactly the same spec and power output. I got curious and found out that Audi changed their required fuel on the 1.8T in 2016 to 87.
Without going hybrid I feel like earth shatteringly different mpg will be tough. But what about an A3 1.8T with the sport package? I posted about it just the other day on Oppo. The sport pack gives you a suspension, shift paddles, and drive modes more in line with a GTI. Rated 24/33 but it’s a rare car where reviewers…
Probably depends on the 996. I feel like the real abundant ones that aren’t as desired are still sitting where they were price wise. Turbos are definitely moving up. Lower mile manual coupes might be up a bit. But autos and cabriolets(which I have) seem less desired and prices seem less strong.
God I hope you're right so these depreciate as badly as 996s have...
I’ve always assumed it would be horrible just based on how high the belt line is. The thing practically looks like a mini murano cross cab with the big wheels and the high doors. What’s the point of open roof driving if the door sills are at your ear?
Especially since google tells me it’s made in the USA. Get a “made in the USA” sticker and problem solved.
You need some relief from the Pete the cat.
Makes Packing and unpacking for your camping trip with your toddler(and Pete the cat) a breeze.
The 911 hasn’t gotten successively heavier with every generation. It took one giant leap when it moved to the 964, and has been close to the same weight since with some variation ever since.
If you go compare some of the tirerack data between GOOD all seasons and winter tires, the gaps in the snow are pretty small. Ice performance tends to be a more significant gap but not everyone gets ice sooo buy what you need and drive within whatever you have’s limits...
I am just supremely jealous.
I think it’ll be somewhat like you’re thinking in the second point except that the $100k version is won’t come out at first. Intro the hybrid or twin turbo at $140; keep the C7 around. After people are done paying premiums and stretching for the upper models; introduce a NA V8 for $100k.
