One of the issues with the Saab 9-3 is all the nomenclatures. TurboX, XWD, aero, linear, sportcombi. The TurboX was the highest/rarest of the 9-3; but an Aero XWD from 2009 on is pretty equivalent. Each of them got the haldex system that could preemptively put power to the rear wheels.

in the middle of a state that is 120 percent Caucasian was always gonna be a lost cause.”

Nicest Subaru Baja Turbo he can find?

Well; I’m getting all ve klempt at work. My co-workers are going to think I had really hard day when they see the tears in the corner of my eyes from this things’ beauty.

The weight gain thing didn’t really happen “over the years” as much as all at once. Since 1989 base Carrera 2 cars have been about the same weight, right near 3,000 pounds; sure the old cars were 2500ish pounds but it’s not like each generation gets heavier. However the footprint, that’s another thing...

Mods aside, you find me a rust free 2005 forester xt with 122k miles and a manual for $6,250 I’d be pretty damn interested.

This is actually a really solid candidate for singer-ization.

More practical than the 997 conversions which just had super low, I’m sure non complying, headlights

You said it’s going to “revolutionize supercardom”. I am just pointing out that might be a statement we don’t have enough information to actually make yet. I gave examples.

Either your making some assumptions or you know way more than what is out theee for information.

2025!

I feel like Porsche gave a lot of YouTubers the T and GT3 to push that baby GT3 narrative but it seems more an exercise in marketing. If they had given it an NA engine then I think the narrative would hold much truer...

Heck, I’d even say $25k. There is a 996.2 with under 70k miles, dark red, manual for mid 20s out there. I doubt it’s had the IMS done(or that you could get confirmation) but budget $3k for clutch/IMS/rms and drive happy!

The DSG automatic and turbocharged engine(especially if you’re tempted to tune) are two things that come to mind. But even in stock form it should be enjoyable and sprightly. The crosstrek is one of the slower modern cars available last time I looked with some testingit around 10 seconds 0-60.

I suspect a person would find the VIN of the cheapest 993 they could and swap it over.

At least based on my last experience, some are, some aren’t.

An Oppositelocker, flyNorCal, blew his engine, when the repair bill came back at about the same cost as what he had paid for the car he decided to walk away. He offered it up free to any Oppo who could get it towed away from the shop by a certain day. I obliged him, sold my 944 to buy a 3.2 liter boxster s engine and

As an owner I will tel you 99% of the population has no idea that a 996 is consideres uncool or unattractive, etc. People flag me down while I drive to tel me it’s cool, I’ve seen a few kids snap pictures, family asks for rides. Pretty hilarious as I got my car for free and swapped in a Boxster S 3.2 engine. I’ve got

And yet, it’s still a good car; although I will admit, I’ve considered converting mine to RWD.

Those targa kits are so freaking awesome and so stupidly expensive.
