Now, you’re right, doesn’t make as much sense. But 5 years ago, you could get this with a 2.0t and a manual OR 4motion; neither of which was readily available on the old Jetta sportwagen.

Yeah, some of the budget would probably be well spent on a little extra warranty coverage.
The Abarth just sounds so good. But yeah, a Ford st would fit the bill as well.
The miles and limited edition nature really do push this over to NP. I think this is a good example where lots of people are voting about if they would buy it at that price, not necessarily if it’s a good price compared to the market.
Less than 2 cubic feet if I recall. It is just ever so barely bigger. It’s mostly a styling change.
Thanks! The angle of the shot leaves out the dash cracks, so I think it’s a bit generous of a shot.
I knew it! So much luxury, all the torque, super exclusive, Porsche 944.
You crack me up.
In a time trial, there is usually a front warning group and then riders leave at intervals of 60-120 seconds and there are lots of support cars in fron/behind. So in many instances, there isn’t much need for a big traffic control program. And if you think about how rarely this happens, it’s because most people who…
Then again, I had a muddy off leash dog chasing me on a run today even though it and its owner were literally 60 feet from a dog park but they were playing fetch just near the running trail and the dog clearly had no ability to obey commands, Dog owners(not dogs) are just as insufferable and entitled as cyclists. Dogs…
It seems more logical that the production looking concept car would be the third rather than the never seen or talked about new platformed car that came out of nowhere. Hopefully, Toyota is still considering bringing it to the u.s. It would make a lot of sense for the Supra to be introduced, Toyota gauges feedback and…
I believe in the u.s. the CC actually is on a different platform from the current Passat. Also, you get the 2.0t with the DSG in the CC, which I don’t believe was ever on the Passat. So you do get arguably the sportiest VW drivetrain on a platform that’s supposed to be slightly sportier.
If I had to wager, it’s that you know almost nothing about minnesotas public transit but assume it’s bad. But in the twin cities, it’s really good, I took public transit for lots of my trips when I lived in Minnesota. I took it for 90% of my work commuting for 3 years. Some nights out, some shopping, twins games.
I was willing to hear Mitsubishi out on using the eclipse name for a crossover. I thought, “well maybe they will take the Evo platform, and make some sort of 3 series GT type thing out of it; that would be a decent crossover. Or maybe they’re bringing back the Sportback body with some refinement.”
Freddy, I think another car worth mentioning that seems like a really good value used is the Lotus Evora. There are a handful under $50,000 with low miles from the 2010-2011 time frame. I know the Camry engine is a mark against it but it’s small, light, bespoke, and fast.
I feel like a person would just be better off buying 10 kinda rough first gen boxsters.
