We do indeed. Dark energy repels, dark matter attracts!
We do now! We discovered it by having models be way off, in fact. As if something was forcing the universe to accelerate its expansion. That's what we believe dark energy is doing, whereas dark matter is what fills in the gaps of galaxies and keeps them from collapsing or losing physical coherence.
We have not a clue about that subject xD
Glad to help :D true deep space, like that between galaxies, contains almost nothing at all.
They do annihilate each other when they mix, but the majority of it is likely in deep space and spread between celestial bodies, and very, very small. So the chances of antimatter and matter meeting is extremely unlikely. This is what I think is right, at least.
Ah, I knew I had something wrong. That makes much more sense, thanks!
HE BOILED FOR OUR SINS!
Shazam Player for iOS does!
I believe it's called matter-antimatter asymmetry if you want to research it, however.
Eh, that's how it's theorized to have happened by today's brightest! I'm simply the messenger.
Yeah, I suppose it's just how this universe's Big Bang happened to unfold. And at some point, nothing in the universe is necessary if you believe its creation was entirely natural. All just chaos :D
Bring on the inevitable douchbaggery.....
Don't trust me at all, but I believe it comes down to the conservation of energy. Anti-matter must exist in order to balance out the unbalanced energy-sum of the Universe.
Imagine if we never discovered this, created the drive, and began to travel to hundreds of different systems. We would discover many civilizations that had gone extinct and be extremely confused.
I can't help but laugh :s gonna burn for a long time! haha
I got this [bit.ly]
Oh yeah, man! That happens to me all the time. I guess they just really need their human bones.....
AH that's the word. I was sitting there for like 5 minutes trying to think of it >.<
Unbelievable thing is hard to believe!
