In my time at Edwards I once sat in a planning meeting for a wheels and brakes test (rolling only) on a B-1. They had two particular cards to run, one which required a full fuel load and one which called for the plane to be almost empty.

It's a shame because these tankers at Mildenhall have displayed that square 'D' badge since the second world war. It'll be one hell of an end to an era.
