I disagree, the market is there, whoever can figure out cost effective alternative energy will be absolutely swimming in money. The world is ready, someone just needs to deliver. The race is on regardless of government involvement.

No, Canadians would be pinched just as much as Americans would be by higher gas prices. Yes, America and Canada are friends and we share the same Enemies as well.
