yes, I’ve had some really great responses and did a little digging into it myself. Seems like it could be a profitable and useful service if they just stuck with rideshare and didn’t have such lofty goals of world domination.

Never, Ever, Forget Days of Thunder....

I think their CEO really wants to be like an evil villain Elon Musk, instead of just making something useful that works, he wants to rule the world

How does Uber lose money? isn’t the concept basically just matching up drivers with passengers? the drivers sure aren’t getting the money so where the hell is it all going?

I can tell you that a 4 door is so much nicer, It’s really a pain in the butt especially with an infant seat that the baby stays in. You have to do some freaky yoga gymnastic like crap to get that thing into the back and locked in. Wife had a 2 door cavalier, it lasted 2 weeks after the baby got home and it was

oops replied to wrong post

I think that had a lot to do with it, it was a CRV, they were selling like mad, really if you could get 500 bucks off you got a deal. We looked at used ones and they were at best 1500 bucks less than new so we decided to go with a new one. But I mean 4 hours to save 500 bucks, and then all the scummy backdoor crap

Just got done configuring mine and turns out it’s a base model Blue M3. How did that happen?

Worst experience of my life was buying a new Honda, I can’t even get into details because 15 years later it still pisses me off. I wanted to and was ready to walk out 4 times but my wife really wanted the car and so I stayed and finally got the deal done at the exact amount I stated I would pay 4 hours earlier. I

My heart says NP but the Brain says run. Brain wins today, CP

You can’t deport a citizen. That’s clearly unconstitutional.

No, it is not at all, in any way legal to punch someone who insults you. You are on the right track about consequences as far as being fired from your job etc but it is not legal to take someones rights away from them. You can’t physically prevent someone from exercising their rights. Example you can fire an employee

This job listing is the textbook definition of unskilled labor and is a $17-$21 per hour job that the Article is referring to. The other job openings listed are all Engineering, management, technical, and skilled trades, all require education and or special skills, They will all make over 60k and most likely 6

Those are engineering, management, and skilled trades jobs he linked. They sure as hell don’t pay 17 an hour, those are all 6 figure jobs. The ones referenced in this article do not require any degree or special skill.

Look up the term in the dictionary. You want to be offended but there is nothing offensive about a very common and widely used labor term. It simply means no higher education or specialized training is required to be hired for the job. I started wrenching on cars when I was 12 years old and did my first engine

I can’t argue with you there.

I think this one is probably throw away territory when it finally dies. Just sell it to some young kid for 500 bucks and let him wrench on it for few years before his dad has it towed to the junkyard,

if it checks out and really does “run great” it’s an easy NP even if it only lasts a year you’ve gotten your money’s worth out of it.

I guess my point is mostly that only in California would people working a job that requires no skill, no degree or technical school complain that they are only making 17 bucks an hour. In most places you would have people line up and gladly compete in cage matches to the death for that kind of job. To be clear I’m not

problem is this thing is country on the outside but hip hop on the inside. No classy Texas cowboy would spend even a minute inside this thing. You need rhinestones and animal heads for the interior.
