yeah literally only knew peach AND armor from snap but loved their art and this preview looked really cool so I’m really interested in watching this

Final Fantasy 14 may be the best Final Fantasy ever made, I would recommend giving it a try and seeing if the free trial can get you past the MMO aversion.

Yoshi-P is being typically vague here, and/or some of the idea behind his words are probably lost in translation. His platformers and pits analogy does ring familiar and I can see where in FF14 that’s applied, when it comes to the core battle systems.

thats the issue, not many players dive into the world of ultimates, yet the devs also took away eureka like stuff which really fills in the empty space between patches, and endwalker really needed that because they spaced out the content drops further.

It’s not really the correct response if you’re running a business and trying to sell a product to customers. That’s why PR training exists and why employees without said training usually aren’t allowed to interact with customers.

Having no nostalgia attached to FF7, I agree with your take. I feel most of the praise it gets is due to the nostalgia people have for the game.  

I acknowledge VII’s impact on the series as well as the fact that it was the first game in the series to be experienced by most...but from a story telling perspective it has nothing on the masterpiece that is VI, with VII being a confusing mess in comparison. I’ve played the vast majority of the FF games and VII does…

Wayyyy too much credit was given to XIII. That was the only FF game which I got frustrated, quit, and threw the game away out of spite.
