For those using a Recoilless Rifle or similar weapon: aim for one of the legs, ideally a front one. The armor on the leg will break, and you can lay into that leg with a primary weapon for a mag or two and it'll go down. Save your heavy ammo, Helldivers!

Good to know Belethor's General Goods has a spaceborne equivalent!

The lack of 'Fall of the Foot Clan' on here is...well, fair, honestly, but damn if it isn't still my favorite for purely nostalgic reasons.

Your articles challenged readers here constantly, and they weren't always kind about that. But you kept going, kept pushing, and whenever I saw your name on an article, I knew I was about to read something nobody else would think to write. That, and you, will be missed. Best of luck, wherever you go!

Sisi, you get a lot of shit on this website, and you just keep wading back in clad in anime-style, gacha-themed, unapologetically progressive armor with a giant buster sword engtaved ‘the blade with which I slew the last fucks I had to give’ and daring those motherfuckers to give you more. So let me just say:

Small thing, but especially when the article is about multiple games, would Kotaku be able to put the name of the game below screenshots? I had to reverse image search most of these just to figure out what games they were pictures of.

I had a lot of fun with this list, and I agree with a lot of it, but I do have one minor quibble! Black Flag’s worst part wasn’t the cities and islands, although everything you said about them was true - it was those damn modern day sections where you’re forced to slowly, slooooowly walk around fantasy-ubisoft in the

(Levi, sorry, but Scyther is Gen I and Scizor is Gen II - change it, quick, before the internet sees!)

I know this is gonna be pretty unpopular, but I’m actually really looking forward to this. Galaxy of Heroes has a lot of problems, but overall I still have a lot of fun with it, and Lord of the Rings is probably the IP I’d most want to see get the same experience.

I’m really happy you’re covering Genshin, Sisi! Love it, hate it, or have a complex relationship with it, it’s such a huge part of gaming right now, it felt weird how long it was largely absent here. Can’t wait to read more from you in 2022!

We’ll miss you, Ash. Your articles quickly became some of mg favorites, and I can’t thank you enough, not only for providing insight into the experience of gaming for someone with different lived experience from my straight, white, male self, but also for the chance to share and celebrate the joy of gaming with you.

Patricia I used to religiously read your work when you were here before, and I’m beyond thrilled that you’re back! As someone who almost entirely fits that ‘platonic gamer’ archetype, what you want this site to be is something I definitely don’t want to miss, and I am so fucking here for all of this!
