It’s total bullshit. I’m a industrial designer and that concept is not even 1/4 cooked. The gigantic overhangs, the skirt that will high center the vehicle on practically anything, the stupid looking wheels that have no place on a supercar, etc.

Next time, before you start, hit the area with a torch. Then take a crayon, candle, or chunk of wax and press on the area. The heat will cause the wax to be sucked into the threads, resulting in easier time getting it out.

Why reinvent the wheel? It looks good and aligns with the brand identity. It’s like the 911, gradually evolved over years.

If you could afford a CTS-V when you were 20, you had rich parents. No 20 year old I knew could afford them, heck most 30 year olds I know can’t afford them.
