I might consider trading in my Faraday Future FF-91 on one of these. You know, once that’s not made up as well.
I’ll believe it when I see it. As of now, Fisker has no established supply chain, no manufacturing facility, and no dealer network. Just more vaporware from the KING of vaporware. It’s alot harder to build an automotive startup then just renting office space in a WeWork
He sounds like a power-obsessed filthy rich greedy crook, to me. But the high-dollar international PR being astroturfed about how he’s a humble victim is quite comical.
Ahhh yes, another step towards the floating chairs in WALL-E that i so desperately long for... Excellent.
Seeing this, I can’t get the image of the people in Wall-E out of my head. Apparently that’s our future.
One step closer to this then.
So one of my students last year explained the reasoning behind stancing a car after I made a similar comment, and it comes down to drifting. The major caveat, though, is that a true drift car will have only a moderate amount of stance, whereas all the hella obnoxious ones are basically the equivalent of a super lifted…
I don’t know what it is about the last Dodge Dart, but it’s always eye-catching in person. It doesn’t stand out that much in a photo, so it’s got to be something subtle about the dimensions and the lines. It just looks clean and solid, in a way other small cars often don’t.
Yeah he only joined the MLK rallies to support white people.
god forbid we actually accept people’s heartfelt apologies about things they did half a lifetime ago...
And I love that 4 years later, people’s biggest criticism of Bernie Sanders is STILL “too many men like him and I don’t like men”
I’m excited to read about this adventure. I love wrenching but I am particular about wrenching at home, with all of my tools, in my heated garage (david, you can heat yours for cheap with propane or kerosene). I would (and have) personally just towed vehicles like this. Rent a uhaul trailer and drive in the comfort of…
Is it worth the time installing the front drive shaft? I’m guessing it’s missing for a reason.
This is the $2.6 million “beater” for those that don’t want to drive there investment grade F1. What an awesome yet fucked up world we live in.
....and my point is that fraction of the distance is enough for most people
Fact is the vast majority of regular people towing isn’t huge loads and it isn’t for long distances. Small car trailers, motorcycle trailers, load to the dump, etc. Will it take a trailer cross country taking your kid to college? Nah, will it let the average person do what they need around their local area? Yep.
I think we’re far closer to solving nuclear fusion than convincing Karens to use the correct lane.
If we properly educated American drivers about lane etiquette and, well, driving, there’s no reason our interstate highways couldn’t be a fast as the German Autobahn. They’re designed for aircraft landings and troop transport, after all.
They should have a segment called “Ow! My Balls!”
do you really plan to restore this or will this just sit, rotting, along w/all the other POS sinking into your landlords yard? 6 months from now there will be another story where you find some other pos that then kicks this pos to the back of hte line of your repair dreams.
