Nice. How does that work during winter?

1g Honda insight: Aluminum space frame, 1800lbs, power everything, capable of 60-70mpg in normal driving, $3,000 used
Those headlights are way too low to ever have a snowball's chance in hell at being production. They need to be further from the ground.
I found mine in Texas for $3k at a dealership. The size becomes irrelevant if you have a second (bigger) car. I have an S6 avant for road trips and towing, but it only gets 21mpg. I have a 70s 911 that gets about the same. This little honda saves me about $3k every year in fuel bills.
I'll probably do a deep discharge at some point, have a few other projects on my plate at the moment. It's a great car though! :)
The insight is incredibly, incredibly underpowered. The really tiny chassis, bolstered seats, S2000 steering wheel, and short shifter still make it fun though.
Just to keep it on the road. The battery is the original, with 183k on it. I grid charge it once every few weeks and it works great! :)
Nope. Stock + grid charger.
Right. Which is why trucks are terrible. If you had said OFFROAD, I would concede a truck is a better vehicle, due to ground clearance, tire sidewall size, tire options, etc. But we are talking about ON THE ROAD, and the simple fact is that trucks brake horribly, and handle horribly. A car is faster and safer than…
This was in the 90s. Everybody was doin' it.
Thanks! It's a blast!
Totally. That's why trucks are so great in WRC. Oh wait.
So most truck owners tow 20 ft long things all the time and drive on logging trails everyday? Neat! I didn't know 70% of american families were lumberjacks. You learn something new every day!
Go 20 in a 55 when there is no call for it. When shit's bad go slow. I'm fully behind slowing to a safe speed. When you're on a clear asphalt you can go the speed limit even if it snowed this morning. If you are so timid about the snow please just stay home. Some other asshole is going to get so pissed off that they…
Huh. Um, yeah.... the Tribeca. It's great to own because it has... tires and seats, I guess. It is definitely a vehicle, and therefore superior to walking. Plus, there's something to be said for owning the least-interesting Subaru in history, right?
I will never own a bike for the reasons you just mentioned. Plus all the idiots texting. I salute you, brave sir!
