I kind of agree with you, but I don't think he's acting like he's special. He's like any other automotive noob who thinks his first car is like some amazing gift to the world, and all stories of it are worth sharing. >shrug<

Argue all you want. GM made utter shit for my entire life. That did not justify any tax payer expenditure for making stupid decision after stupid decision, while other companies noticed the writing on the wall and had the foresight to not put all their eggs on one basket (SUV production).
That's just like, your opinion man.
That, my friend, is what's called a huge market opportunity. Why should a company that made utter shit for 3 decades be allowed to survive? Why not let it's competitors reap the rewards of a better vision, and more foresight? Surely ford/mopar could have scaled up their production to fill in for GM, and in the…
I think you're the idiot. GM being dead would open the doors to startups like Tesla and Fiskar, and maybe Fiskar would have even made it if there had been more demand, and tons of empty dealerships. GM needed to die.
Not a great price, but a solid clean car that will only be appreciating in the years to come.
Explain the combo...
Because standard pizza is low in sodium? Or non fattening? Huh? Maybe it's just me but it seems like frozen pizza has to be healthier than most of the greasy crap you get from Pizza Slut and the like.
I'd have people over every night and eat as much pizza as possible, to try to burn through the coupons in about a month, then publicly ask for more. Jokes on you suckas, for underestimating my ability to consume pizza!
Best part was push button 4wd. On the highway you could leave it on FWD and get better MPG.
Actually I never had transmission problems. All the cars had trans coolers; they were built into the radiator. The issue was the 92-93s had a small screen on the inlet of the trans cooler, and it would get clogged with debris. I updated my radiator to the later style and drained/refilled my ATF at every other oil…
Real boobs are awesome.
Yeah I know, hence why I wrote "chose to". I miss my SVX. I owned it for 7 years. Great car... terrible transmission. I was even featured on autoblog, back in the day:
Still a way better interior than the E30. That just felt like I was in an 80s shitbox. Because I was.
Sorry for the over zealous response. I've heard that more than once from some 40-50 year olds, "we went through a recession too!" Bullshit not even the same ball park, not even the same game.
Yup. Because you chose a really cheap car instead of buying a new one. Not that there's anything wrong with that, SVX's are awesome*!!!
