Not saying your points don’t have some merit, but you do realize that the reason those Southern cities have had black mayors is because ALL of the white people fled to the suburbs, right?

Ah.

Um, why are we telling this guy to shoot his wife? Like, I ALSO don’t think that his perception of Boston matches up with my experience of living here. But ... not sure where the shooting the wife stuff is coming from, or how it helps.

Okay, great. Can you please let us know about all your first-hand experiences with racists here?

Well, I was including black Bostonians in this example. Not everybody is white! Fun fact!

God, you’re a dumb fuck. Have you ever been to Boston? Like once?

I live in Boston, and almost all of my friends are transplants.

This is fair. I also live in Boston (well, Milton now, but I’m a mile from the Mattapan line). And while I root for the home teams and think that the city’s rep as a hotbed of racism is anachronistic, the fans here can be pieces of shit.

I live in Boston with my mixed-race family. The city is too segregated, and no place in America (or the world) is immune from racism.

I’ll be at tonight’s game (weirdly — I only attend a game like once every three years). I’ll do my part to silence the assholes around me.

Maybe I’ll be wrong. But the odds are with me. There are a hell of a lot more Ryan Leafs (and Christian Ponders and Ryan Tannehills and Jamarcus Russells and RGIIIs and Tim Tebows and Blake Bortles and Sam Bradfords and Blaine Gabberts and Matt Leinarts and Brandon Weedens and Jake Lockers and Johnny Manziels and

You keep thinking that teams know what they’re doing when they trade up for reach QB picks, and I’ll keep thinking they’re dipshits, and we’ll see who’s right more often.

And yet, there’s a surplus of shitty NFL GMs and coaches.

If you have no faith in a guy, you don’t let him run a draft and then fire him the next day. Even if they limited his power in this go-around, they should have gotten someone they trusted in position to get the players that are going to be there.

The problem isn’t whether he’s getting fired or not. It’s the timing, which sets the Bills up to suck forever and a day.

They do not.

Why would anybody take this job? They hire a new coach and run a whole draft without you, and then you walk into that? Like two weeks before workouts? Yeah, I’m sure they’ll get a highly competitive candidate.

Yeah, I don’t think anyone’s saying he’s unique. He’s awful, but he does not have the market on awfulness cornered.

What leverage? Which of these companies needs unproven tiny dude Lonzo Ball to keep making profits?
