I hope you’re right. And I think once the group stage is over and the better teams head to the quarterfinals, ticket sales in general will pick up.

I think the event organizers have not done a very good job promoting the entire event ahead of the first games. (and yes, tickets are expensive, which doesn’t help). Hopefully after the group stage things will pick up.

I watched “those other games” this weekend and they are not full. nowhere close to full. Like MLS would do better full. The US game next Saturday isn’t even close to selling out.

My PSU diploma was signed by Spanier in ‘97. I believe it was vacated. i’m about to use the back of the diploma to write a letter to PSU asking for my tuition money back. with interest.
