I learned with my last phone that touch screens start getting finicky around 90° and 20°. Never permanently hurt the screen, but it was annoying to use.
I would hope even a cheap tablet at least has a capactive multi-touch screen. this is 2012 after all. I once played a resistive Coby tablet running Froyo in a store and it took a few minutes just to unlock it.
I wish I had extra computers. All I have is a 2 year old Compaq Presario CQ62-219wm. 2GB RAM, 250GB 5400 rpm HDD, 2.2 gHz single core Intel Celeron. can't wait til I save up enough to build a desktop. :)

I KNOW the answer to Ch 1 has to "38447" but it says it's wrong! oh well, I give up. :/
I had a similar situation to you but it didn't develop until after I graduated and moved away from all my friends from high school. but it's all gone now 2 years later. :)
