My main gripe about this specific stretch of the season is THEY WENT TO A BRAND NEW GALAXY. That should have been gigantically momentous.

Skyrim came out in pretty much every single year since. They have had plenty of opportunities much, much later.
76 is an MMO
It's amazing how humourless and snotty some people are. Massive "fun at parties" energy.
The industry’s a lot different than it was when Skyrim first came out 30 years ago.
In all of the releases and updates that Skyrim went through, they never fixed the Dawnstar chest which is literally the same issue. I’m honestly surprised this got addressed since its a choice to use it and in no other way impacts the game.
Never a fan of the “stop having fun” patches that fix silly stuff like this.
Its a single player game. Let them enjoy the sandbox!
Yep. Kind of surprised that the top level of commerce doesn’t have the good old “invest in vendors so they have more money” bit that’s in Fallout & Skyrim. As it is, I’ve skipped that skill entirely because I already have to buy out lots of ammo just to be able to sell the guns I loot.
Yes, lazy cash grab is a lazy cash grab, but at least this time, “authenticity” is being branded as “completeness,” and in that regard, the collection is a faithful recreation/emulation for those who want nothing to do with emulation—-which is most consumers. They just want to hit download or pop in a disc and play on…
You are missing the point of the collection. The entire point is to play the games as they were. Not as you might like them to be...remade. This is simply to gin up interested in the franchise to do a proper remake at a later date. Good sales might push that up a year or so. Bad sales...not so much. Thus, this is one…
No it's not.
I was worried that the entire collection was locked to 30FPS until I read closer and realized it was just the PS1 game. Now I’m wondering why people are complaining that a PS1 game isn’t running at 60fps. Upgrading that would require adding in more frames of animation that simply don’t exist, as well as plenty of…
Okay, very few games run at native 4k 60fps. Yes, PS5 and consoles output to 4k, buts by and large upscaled from a lower resolution (which to be fair, is totally fine). Even on a high end PC most hardware is going to struggle to hit native 4k 60fps unless you have a 4090. (Hint: I have a 4090). So please stop with the…
Anyone who’s tried to get a decades-old game to run on modern hardware has learned the hard way that many of these games were designed with a very specific framerate in mind, and once you crack the cap, the game breaks. When an engine is coded to run in sync to an expected frametime, uncapping the framerate will…
Don’t get the issue here. increasing the frame rate to MGS1 would be bad and affect several game play mechanics, and boss fights.
Now them not optimising 2 and 3 for switch is inexcusable given these games are 22 and 19 years old respectively.
The game is fine at 30 fps.
A good and expected result. Now can we never talk about them again?
