I’ve read that nobody knows anything about the current gen platform versions because people were only allowed to play on the Switch.

I don’t get why 2k didn’t price it at $29.99. This just seems like a lazy cash grab. I’ll just wait for a deep deep sale.

There’s nothing stopping anyone from playing it via Xbox Cloud Gaming, especially if they have GamePass. It’s not like PlayStation or Steam Remote Play where you’re streaming it from the console itself so it has to be installed there.

I mean, I guess anything’s possible but they’re not competing on price as of now. The 1TB models are $149, meanwhile you can get a 2TB PS5 expansion for $99 (or probably less). The 2TB Seagate expansion is $279, which is at least down from the absolutely ludicrous $399 it was originally. That price drop, by the way,

It might not be quite as big an issue if Xbox storage expansions weren’t so hilariously overpriced.

PS3 is still active, but you can't pay directly with a credit card anymore due to security risks. You have to add balance to your account elsewhere before buying anything for the PS3.

Paladin being top makes sense really, they are the most versatile class. You’re a decent melee fighter, so you have physical abilities when needed, you get access to extremely useful healing spells, and your main stat is charisma so you’re also able to leverage that for more interesting dialogue options. With the way

I mean, not really. They’re there, but definitely all that common except for a couple of specific places.

In the context of BG3 where it feels like combat arenas more often than not feature bridges, second floors, chasms, spider pits, and all manner of horrible things to land in or get yeeted into or through, eldritch blast’s value goes way up. Being able to one-shot an enemy with 155 HP on demand will save you pretty

Replying to yourself so everyone else doesn’t get the notice to respond to your bad take? Sad.

You’re confusing demonologists and necromancers.

Yeah, but it didn’t drop off in six months, it dropped off in three weeks and stayed that way. The game was sheer mediocrity and the numbers back that up.

“Six Months Later” is a regular Kotaku feature that this site has been doing for years.

So, they’ll treat it like every other major release this year, then? Oh no!

Warlocks are NOT necromancers. They are, in fact, one of the WORST picks for necromancy magic in the game (that crown belongs to, unsurprisingly, School of Necromancy Wizards).

Warlocks are not necromancers. They don’t even get Animate Dead.

Like, fuck JK Rowling and her stupid racist fantasy world, and especially fuck people who claim to be allies but bought and played this game anyway, but it’s 6 months post-release and this game is a single-player RPG. I don’t think it’s a sign of anything that a lot fewer people are playing it every day.

Still not gonna. I’m interested in the idea of a really well executed magic school game with plenty to do that doesn’t get samey and boring after a week. A real AAA effort that does everything HP:HL appears to have phoned in from most of the reviews I’ve read. Hell, when the New World Magischola people were doing

Even without the controversy attached to it, Hogwart’s Legacy always looked like the kind of games that you sorta want to play but are okay waiting for it to eventually go on sale before you buy it.

I’ve been playing D&D for the last few years, but I haven’t played Baldur’s Gate. My current character is a sorcerer, which is fun, but in a previous campaign we had a warlock who (obviously) used a lot of Eldritch Blast. And so when I hit 4th level and was able to take a feat, I picked the Spell Sniper feat, which
