This game looks so good I’m shocked. Just the initial setup encounter where I’m a lowly first level rando has giths rising dragons fighting a Illithid dimension hopping space ship. It’s so fucking metal.
To be fair, how much shitty pathfinding have you dealt with in games?
Do you want your characters turned into stone? Because letting them wander a map in the forest is how you encounter basilisks in the original Baldur’s Gate, and stoneflesh scrolls are not cheap.
Or they don’t want their characters pathfinding their way into an ankheg nest.
I legit have watched people—adults who I know play video games—navigate around an isometric map by repeatedly clicking just in front of the character, or using WASD.
Agreed, though I also think a lot of that was done ONLY because they were so far behind their competition.
my favorite next gen feature has been quick resume. it is so damn convenient to be able to dive into games without having to load a checkpoint or wait for 20 different company splash screens to finish playing before I can get back to what I was doing. it’s like having single use save states in modern games.
This is my literal favorite “next-gen” feature. It genuinely baffles me why Microsoft doesn’t push this harder. They should be slapping “Xbox + PC” on every single digital copy of the game. Maybe even throw “Cloud” into that, since you’ll also be able to jack into Starfield from your phone.
Like most things in late-stage C-word, ghost kitchens have had a horrible impact on the restaurant industry and only provided an extra mechanism through which major brands can take advantage of additional resources to further squeeze out smaller local businesses while pretending to be small businesses themselves.
The whole concept of a “Ghost Kitchen” is such a scam from the get go.
To be fair, paying attention to continuity outside of the show he’s making isn’t really his job. That’s more of a concern for the writing team. But, it’s still not a good look...
It also shows the director wasn’t paying attention to continuity when he made the show. At the end of Civil War, we see Rhodey trying out the Stark leg braces to help him walk, and we see him using those leg braces for the rest of his appearances through Endgame. He’s still disabled; he literally needs this mobility…
I was actually a little surprised not to see him in the trailer. Maybe they’re keeping him a surprise?
Can’t wait. The show wasn’t perfect but it was highly enjoyable through and through, and probably my favorite video game adaptation yet.
I’ve seen T-posed action figures being furiously bashed against each other that more closely resembled actual human sex than most NSFW games.
I’d quite surprised if there were many, if any, NSFW games that also used mo-cap that was specific to their game. Or mo-cap at all.
Hiring an intimacy coordinator shows they at least had enough concern for performers to ensure they were comfortable.
who knows about pay, but regarding treatment, signs look good. the long development time was probably specifically done to avoid crunch and give developers the time they needed. The rest of the gaming industry insisting BG3 is a anomaly and dont want to be held to the same standards is also a pretty promising sign.…
