I’m pretty sure that was sarcasm, but you can never be totally sure anymore.

Welcome to Biden’s America where anyone can just customize their genitals. The woke left has gone too far. Bunch of biological half-orcs unfairly competing against githyankis. It’s a travesty.

As in the Divinity games, you can either create a custom character or choose a premade character that would otherwise be a companion.

Both. You can create a Character or pick a companion and play from their POV.

She’s not wrong though? Competitive is not the place for learning a hero/champion/whatever. And if you know you’re going to have to afk to go eat or something why join a competitive match in the first place, not only screwing over your teammates but also probably getting yourself banned? There is a basic expectation

Are we going to so this particularly dumb slideshow constantly now?

well, it’s rather boring

That was my same question. I know there’s a metric ton of them in that area, but it also wasn’t an area I would have ever wanted to come back to or needed to spend extra time in.

God bless that chicken. And the suicidal boulder you can get to right out the gate with a little travel.

I’m surprised the big chicken below that xp farm didn’t make the top 5.

I am about so many people asserting that Final Fantasy games have always been about reinvention.

“Not wanting FF to be an action series is gatekeeping” is a pretty horrible and mean-spirited argument, I have to say. That’s really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Yeah I mean I don’t really like character action games. Like, they’re fine, but I rarely go out of my way to play them. It’s so weird that a lot of people seem to be unwilling to accept that fans of one genre are not necessarily a fan of another genre. If the next Legend of Zelda game was a 1-on-1 fighting game I’d

Is anybody saying they want Final Fantasy to be stagnant? People seem to be criticizing the specific changes, not the idea of it changing in general.

It is kinda shocking how little confidence Square Enix seems to have in Final Fantasy being its own thing.

This is a really great take on it. I’ve been feeling like I’m being gaslit constantly whenever I express my disinterest in FFXVI even if I give the argument “Hey the demo didn’t impress me so I’m going to wait until it’s either heavily discounted or free on PS+.”

My disappointment in the direction the series has been

I don’t get why more people don’t understand this. Sure, it changes things up in more ways than a series like Tales or Dragon Quest or Phantasy Star would when looking at a series of games in a franchise but it has hardly ever not been within the framework of the JRPG genre (even if they may not like that term).

i’m having fun with the game and all but anyone complaining this isn’t final fantasy is correct

if the next CoD came out as a Dynasty Warriors style hack ‘n slash, CoD fans would be rightfully upset

i personally don’t mind the shift in gameplay style, but i get why people may not enjoy that. and it’s not just that “the

Well said overall. I’m perfectly fine with people loving FFXVI, more power to them, but this odd assertion that this was a natural turn for the franchise, one seen coming based on previous games evolution over the decades, just doesn’t track.

I like football. If I go to an NFL game and they play Curling, that’s the issue.
