Getting real Video Games: The Video Game vibes from this one.

Ooo ancient alien tech, just like... every other space game

That’s the thing, KOTOR 2 would never get greenlit by Disney, and that’s my favorite Star Wars.

I know you don’t mean it because you’re just another human doing what humans do best, but I appreciate it, I generally absolutely loath my existence.

You’re right, Star Wars never had good writing, but its writing didn’t persist into pop culture as a whole. There’s been this Whedonizing of everything throughout media, from movies to games, where it all has to be this lame joke full of snark and a laugh in serious, intense situations, there’s no gravity to anything.

How is it living life creating false dichotomies

it does make Star Wars Outlaws look like it will be centered on characters rather than mechanics and a barrage of systems Ubisoft’s map games have become infamous for. At least that’s what I’m hoping.

This is why online games really should include an option for player run servers from the start. That way the game can still be played decades from now, long after the official servers are taken down.

And please don’t interpret me as being against the idea of her being trans or being against the community...

Might be more for the youth, since Harvest Moon hasn’t been very relevant since what, the Gamecube? And now has to use a different name?

Odd editorial decision to refer to the acknowledged inspiration for a game as ‘the original Stardew-like.’ Does that really pump SEO that much?

And just think, in another year or two we’ll get to start all over again!

There are a ton of games I would rather have had Nintendo do than these. Specifically, how about Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages?

It very much has a “definitely Google Glass but too awkward for you to mistakenly think you can wear them in public without looking like a tool” vibe.

Except the main competitor is not Varjo XR3. it’s Meta Quest Pro. and Meta Quest pro is only $1500. while the feature set is different it is not $2000 different.

This nails every single feature anyone would want... from the decade plus ago when it was first rumored, and it does it a decade plus after pretty much any relatively hard core VR-interested person has gotten the chance to be exposed to commercial VR in a way that highlights the vast expanse between what people

yeah that is obscene even for “professional” vr. This is the sort of thing where a few companies with more money than braincells will buy for “productivity” before they all get tossed into a storage closet until the liquidation sale.

$3500.

Don’t take the free game. Fight for a refund.  Make this company pay for not delivering their promise.

That's a shitty situation for switch owners. Especially after the major launch problems the game had on Switch.
